About Us

At Inspired Breads, tradition is an integral part of everything we do.  Our recipes are traditionally inspired, meaning that they’ve been handed down from generations of bakers, eventually reaching from our kitchen into your home.  Our name, “Inspired Breads” comes from that very idea.  The idea that tradition, grown and fostered over generations, can be turned into something that can inspire others, even outside of the family that very tradition started in the first place.

Tradition is something that’s important to me, and it’s my fear that many recipies will die with the present generation. My desire is to preserve those recipies for the next generation. Southern cooks tend to use the old fashioned methods that may be labor intensive but bring out the most flavor! 

I love the idea of a recipie being handed down through the family! The recipies hold memories of special occasions that are priceless. The smells in the kitchen that fill the whole house and the anticipation of tasting what those smells promise are part of the joy of cooking and baking.
